My father liked to travel so we lived in Utah a couple of times, Texas and California. But we always came back to GA. Since adulthood I've lived in South Carolina and Florida and now in North Carolina.

I work full time. I have 5 grandchildren and 1 due in July. I love animals and people. I have a dog and 3 squirrels that come to my door daily to eat. I love life itself. I really love cooking. I don't believe there is a bad recipe, only bad ingredients that can be changed to fit your taste. When I first started my cookbook I would let a friend test the dish to see if it was cookbook worthy. After a while I had another friend who wanted to do some testing. I now have about 25 "taste testers." It took me about 3 months to finally come up with my broccoli potato soup. I think a few of my testers watched their doors to see if I was bring soup over before answering the door. But when it was finally just right, they now want to know when I'm going to make it again. I also enjoy pulling from 2 or more recipes to make one. Cooking is fun and for me it's better than nerve pills. I pour all of my problems into the pot I'm working with and they all go away.

Activities

Cooking. I even have a cookbook coming out in the Spring that is catered to the offsping of the Baby Boomers. I enjoy herb and flower gardening
