Places I've been

I've been to Cade's Cove several times and enjoy the old cabins , deer, bear and other wild life in the Smokies. One trip to the Rocky Mountains and saw many great places in the two weeks there. Trips to Jekyll Island Georgia for the New Years' Bluegrass festival are always very interesting. Also hear great music! I live in the country and have deer and turkey visit often in the yard. Guess I am just a country girl at heart!! I would like to see more of the country but don't travel very well. Do alright in the Motorhome but not a very confident driver in large cities. I'm looking forward to exploring this Eons stuff once I learn more about the things that can be done. Hope to find a friend or two that can guide me through some of this stuff!!

More about me

I was born young, Daddy died when I was 6 years old and I had to grow-up fast.     So I married young, Four sons born in 6 years and then I really had to grow -up!!!  They are the glue that holds me together, now. I would be best friends with them even if they were not my sons.  I don't have them tied to APRON strings  ( wives have the strings ) but I know a call to them and they will be here!!    I am good as an angel when they let me be and mean as the devil when they make me be ?  Mean has not been often in the 52 years of sons.   

I live a simple life in the country, listen to bluegrass music,which kept me sane during my husbands illness and after his death. I am thankful that I found Eons and so many wonderful people that are smart , thoughtful and loving.   Laughing is very important to me and has always been a big part of my life.  So I especially appreciate the friends here that banter back and forth with me.  Face to face is best because the tone of voice tells a lot about the words being said.  Can't have that so I'll take the next best!!!!

 I plan to live with love for all people and obedience to  my Savior .  I collect frogs ( Fully Rely On God) which I use to witness to people when they comment on the pins I wear. So the screen name Hoppy Lady.  Maybe one day I can change it to HAppy Lady.

Bluegrassing, Taking pictures, Solving puzzles, Baking cookies for the family, Giving advice to grandsons!!
