I am retired. Originally from Alabama , now live in North Carolina. Met my husband while he was in service at Ft Benning, Ga.

 I Love new recipes. 

 Volunteer at the local hospital in the Extended Care Unit. It is such a joy to visit the people that are on that unit.That is now their home for the remainder of their life. Have done this since I retired. We do fund raisers to purchase them things that we think they would like to have or need.

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled quite a bit.

Going to the beach is a favorite place for me. It is so peaceful to sit and watch the waves, or just sit and read.

Activities

Love to bake sweets. Visiting my great grandchildren.Playing games on the computer, Searching my family tree and I Am avid Reader. I also like to work in the yard and I try to exercise at least several times a week.

Cancer and Heart Fund. Am helping with raising funds for the Special Olmypics this year.

I like all kinds of music, except hard rock and heavy metal.
