A former teacher and college prof, I'm now babysitting my son's new baby boy. I like to help with food drives and feeding nutritionally at risk Oklahomans.

Married in 83. Divorced in 01. Mother of a handsome 23-year-old son who, in November 2011, brought a new little person into the world (with the help of his girlfriend). I also have a beautiful 22-year-old daughter who is fully focused on career at the moment. My puppies and our kitties are my babies now.

I do crafts like knitting, crocheting, drawing, scrapbooking, cross stitching. I've written articles and produced many, many newspapers.

Animal welfare and prevention of animal cruelty is my crusade. I'm a foster parent for the American Toy Fox Terrier Club.

Classic rock, 80s rock, hair bands of the early 90s, boy bands of the late 90s, jazz, blues, Dixieland, reggae, opera, symphony, concerts. Country music is okay if I'm in the mood, but I hate those dopey sad songs. Anything Carrie Underwood sings is on my Top Ten list. My musical appetite is pretty eclectic.

I mostly read classics like Frankenstien, Mutiny on the Bounty, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, A Tale of Two Cities, etc... Being an English teacher, I've always felt I should know all those old classics and I really do enjoy reading them.
