A former teacher and college prof, I'm now disabled but hoping to return to teaching at some time in the future.

Married in 83. Divorced in 01. Mother of a handsome 20-year-old son and beautiful 19-year-old daughter. My babies now are my puppies and our kitty.

I do crafts like crocheting, drawing, scrapbooking, cross stitching. I've written articles and produced many, many newspapers.

Animal welfare and prevention of animal cruelty is my crusade. I'm a foster parent for the American Toy Fox Terrier Club.

Classic rock, 80s rock, hair bands of the early 90s, boy bands of the late 90s, jazz, blues, Dixieland, reggae, opera, symphony, concerts. Country music is okay if I'm in the mood, but I hate those dopey sad songs. Anything Carrie Underwood sings is on my Top Ten list. My musical appetite is pretty eclectic.

Favorite Books

I mostly read classics like Frankenstien, Mutiny on the Bounty, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, A Tale of Two Cities, etc... Being an English teacher, I've always felt I should know all those old classics and I really do enjoy reading them.
