Places I've been

I have been to just a few places. Moved to Hollywood, Florida when I was 8 years old. Lived in El Paso, Texas not my favorite place to far away from water lol. Lived in Georgia another place that was beautiful but not my cup of tea. Lived in Hampton, Newport News, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. I loved it there people were just so darn friendly. Neighbors coming over with welcome baskets, over for coffee, or just to chat. Such a friendly place. Moved back to Florida Wellington, West Palm Beach and now live in the Boynton Beach area. I have to say that I love Florida, mainly for its wheather and the ocean. Given the opportunity I would love to live in Virginia. Since the bulk of my family, children, grandchildren, and friends live here in the Sun Shine state (Florida) here I'll stay.

Thought it might be time to do a little update to my profile so here goes.

Hi I am a mother of  6 children and 12 grandchildren.

Elsihla newest member of the family born September 10th, weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 19 inches long. An absoultly beautiful baby. At almost 3 months old is over 11 pounds, and 22 inches long. We plan to use her as the turkey for Thanksgiving, she is a rolly polly, so cute. Saule who is almost 8 months old and 17 pounds at 32 inches tall. Is our little giant just like her daddy, she is walking and has her two bottom teeth already, She speaks a few words already. We have brought her a suitcase and expect her to go to work anytime now lol. These two young additions to my family are blessed with the best features and attitudes of their mommy and daddy.  Parents of both are still on cloud nine and still in need of sleep. They have slowly come to realize that the life they once knew is forever changed, but are not complaining.  I will post new photos of them in their Halloween costumes as soon as I get them.  I am very happy that God has found in his goodness to bless my familywith such percious gifts of joy.

I am enjoying myself here on eons.  I have found some nice friends to chat with and share.  I have found a love of writing stories and poems.

There are times when the pass comes knocking on my door, but I am not afraid to open it anymore.  I know that I am not alone. So in this profile I would like to thank every friend I have made and will make in the near future.  Without this place and the people I have met here I would be so lonely.

I have learn a tiny bit more about computers, but I still qualified myself as a beginner.  

Talking about me personally is still something I do not like to do. Talking about my children and grandchildren, yes that will enlighten my heart.

Well this is me the rambler.  

 

Activities

I love to draw, paint, and any type of crafts, especially ones that I do with my grandchildren. Love to dance though I can't anymore (I have MS) but i do move great in my chair lol. Love to watch old movies, heck love to watch movies, any type well almost any type if you know what I mean.

Favorite Charities

Charities I am the type that sees a family in need (chair, cloths, food, babysitting a ride, etc.) that is what my charity is people I can see people I tell to pass it forward and it makes my heart glad when I see that they do.

Favorite Music

Love all types of music especially from the 40's to the 80's. The 90's till present I like jazz and country especially country.

Favorite TV Shows

Oh love Frasier, Will and Grace, American Idol, Discovery Channel Not much on TV now a days.

Favorite Movies

Hope Floats, old movie called Pot of Gold

Favorite Books

oh wow haven't read an adult book in awhile, last one was The Green Mile with 10 grandchildren its hard to find the time but I read the kids books am reading the Cam Jansen series pretty sweet

My grandmother (who passed away on my birthday) who meant the world to me, I loved her sweetness and her unconditional love given to me when I needed it the most. Now that I am older I can say its my mother. I've always understood my mother's anger towards me when she was young, I was lucky because I understood and I never held it against her. God was kind enough to give me the gift of understanding at a very young age. My father and even my biological one whom I do not know (but which I could meet one day), my children, all my grandchildren, my siblings, my neices and nephews, my cousins oh heck my whole family, my one God daughter my best friend LT, all my friends. There is good in everyone and I love exposing that in everyone and making sure that it is passed on one way or another.

The beach day or night A long winding road late at night with great music playing.

Favorite Animals

Dolphins would love to be one they seem so gentle and it is a dream of mind to swim with them. Horses to run wild and free Lions, Tigers, and bears oh my they seem so proud so strong and yet so gentle.
