Friends and I went to Disney World at Christmas time in 72 ( I think, (anyway the year Disney World opened. My husband and I lived in Kansas City, Missouri My husband and I traveled extensively in Missouri, mainly to the good fishing spots. We were Kansas City Royals Baseball fans so we attended many of their home games. I dragged my husband and one year old daughter to the Kansas City Zoo on Father's Day. I will never live that down. My husband and I moved to eastern Iowa in the fall of 1977. We took our two young, daughters, 9 & 12 to Yellowstone National Park the summer after the fire. The Badlands, Wall Drugs, Mount Rushmore and the Little Big Horn was also on the itinerary I spent a week in San Jose, Calf, while my husband was working there for Nortel. We went to the Winchester Mansion, Fisherman's Wharf and a couple of great restaurants. Met Wayne in El Paso, Tx.. We drove to Carlsbad Caverans. Walking through the caves is an indescribable experience. We walked through a National park but of couse I can't remember the name of the park at the moment. Chicago, the Brookfield Zoo, with the girls of course. Lastly I enjoy shopping in the cities in eastern, Iowa.
