Welcome to the Arapahoe Library District, a public library system serving more than 200,000 residents living in Arapahoe County. Arapahoe County and other major suburban counties make up the greater metropolitan area surrounding Denver, Colorado.

The Arapahoe Library District operates eight branch libraries, an Outreach Service that provides mobile library services, and a library at the County Detention Center, funded by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department. A seven-member Board of Trustees sets the library budget and determines policy.

Do you like Foreign Films, Feature Films or even movies that teach you something in the process? Each library has a broad range of titles and we can always hunt down your titles of interest whenever you have a request.

Favorite Books

Our librarians can recommend books to suit your interest in person or on the phone. You can place a hold on any title and we will contact you when it is available for pick-up. Libraries specialize in books, so you can't go wrong getting your books from the best free "book-store" around :)
