More about me

Formerly an intermediate school counselor and elementary teacher, I'm now into freedom, joy and expanding consciousness. I live out in the high desert of So Cal, but went to high school and college in Washington state, and previous to that, grew up on a farm in central Kansas. As I child, horses were my favorite things in the world and my solitary rides developed my thoughtful side and my appreciation of nature. I couldn't decide if I wanted to be Lone Ranger or a space cadet when I grew up. My journey has been an adventure and I'm thinking I'm definitely not in Kansas anymore, although it's still all about Oz, in my books!

Activities

Reading, writing, philosophizing, meditating, movies, walking...along with the occasional travel.

Favorite Music

Is there anyone besides the Beatles? Oh yeah...ole Blue Eyes, countless smooth jazz artists, Enigma (or any new age sounds), classical...depends on my mood.

Favorite TV Shows

Lost, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy...and whatever happened to Alias and Roswell? Or for that matter, Kung Fu? Drat it.

Favorite Movies

Somewhere In Time, all the Rocky movies, Close Encounters, What the Bleep Do We Know, Sliding Doors, An Affair to Remember, anything with Johnny Depp in it, and the list goes on and on and on.

Favorite Books

Wuthering Heights, any of the Seth or Abraham books, the DaVinci Code, Illusions, Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, poetry by WB Yeats, Rumi or Edna St. Vincent Millay, and countless others.
