Hello, I was born and raised in Evansville, IN. I'm a Special Ed. teacher getting close to retirement, but not close enough. (Had I not stayed home with my 3 children when they were little, I'd be finished and enjoying retirement. But I wouldn't have traded that time with them when they were little for anything!) My husband and I were each married before and between us we have 6 children and 10 grandchildren. My husband is a retired teacher and a USPTA Pro 1.

I've always been a dog person. An only child, I grew up with a Pekingese, Weimeraner, Dalmatian, and a Peke-a-poo. (Not all at one time.) I have also had a Cocker Spaniel and a Black Lab. In June 09 our 14 year old Dalmatian went to the Rainbow Bridge. Currently, we have 2 Dachshund females, almost 4 and almost 2.
