Places I've been

I've lived in numerous states; Alabama, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Maine, Indiana and now live in Texas. I've traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Aruba and many Carribean islands. The only states that I have not been to are Alaska, North & South Dakota, Montana and Iowa.

Retired since March 2006 and have more time now to do what I enjoy doing.  I like to travel and do it as often as I  can.  Recently, I made it to England, Scotland and Ireland with one of those tour packages.  It was great!! I love traveling. I guess its my priority when it comes to my fun times especially if its somewhere I've never been before.

I go back to my home state of Maine regularly and always enjoy my trips there.

I try to workout regularly(most of the time anyway!).  

I also enjoy gardening, woodworking, decorating and updating my house.  Here lately I've become a little addicted to genealogy and working on my family tree. ......And of course, there's always the matter of being on this computer.

 

Activities

Gardening(I love flowers as you can see by a lot of the pics on my profile), crafts, painting, wood working, home decor, some sewing, crocheting, cross stitching, working out, traveling, happy hour, playing on this computer, genealogy is my latest hobby and I'm a little addicted to it.

Favorite Charities

I try to give to animal charities when I can. Someone has to remember that all those little animals need our help too. There are soooo many cats and dogs with no homes and/or being abused.

Favorite Music

Rock n' roll of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and some of the 90s. I listen to the current stuff too.

Favorite TV Shows

CSIs, Dancing with the Stars, Medium, Journeyman, American Idol, Ghost Whisperer; I've kinda gotten into the Biggest Loser this season too. I like to watch HGTV alot too.

Favorite Movies

I don't have just one and I like too many to mention here. I'm not too big on the blood and guts stuff though.

Favorite Books

Biographies, romance novels, suspense, time travel type stuff too.

Favorite Quotes

Well, I'll just worry about that tomorrow.

Favorite Places

The ocean. I love the sound, the smell and the sight of it. I love getting to countries in Europe too; when I can afford it.

Favorite Animals

Dogs; but cats are a close second now that I have Squeaks. Nobody tell Squeaks, please!
