- More about me
-
I am 55 years young or old, depending on when you catch me. I am mother to one beautiful daughter and a proud grandma to one precious grandson.
To me, where I live is paradise... along the beach, where the average year round temperature is 70 degrees. I moved here 10 years ago and I have never wanted to leave.
Most would describe me as a fun, giving, and caring person, who thinks of others before myself. I receive a lot of pleasure in doing for others, always have, always will.
I belong to the Reagan Roundup and am proud to be a member. I have adopted 4 soldiers who are currently serving in Iraq, the main purpose is to send cards, letters, and monthly care packages to those serving. It is rewarding to know that I am doing something small to brighten the days of those so far from home and loved ones.
I am the State Leader for California and Arizona and it pleases me to see more and more people step up to adopt a soldier, to show them that we appreciate their efforts, by staying in touch.
We can always use more members, check it out, it only takes a few minutes of your time to let them know you care. Reagan Roundup

It doesn't matter if you agree with the war or not, what matters is that we all stand in support of all those men and women laying their lives on the line for our freedom.
“Leadership is a potent combination of strategy and character. But if you must be without one, be without the strategy.”
Norman Schwarzkopf"The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God."
John F. Kennedy"No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave."
Calvin Coolidge"Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of the men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory."
George Patton"To be prepared for War is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace."
George Washington

Sometimes the most simple thing you can do is to reach out to someone else, with a smile, a hug, a kind word, it doesn’t have to be much. What you made do, or say could be the nicest thing that person has had happen to them that day.
I haven’t been on Eons that long, but I love it here, the people I have met, the groups I am in, nothing can compare to being a member of this wonderful on-line community.
