My name ist Karl-Heinz and I am married to my wife Ruth since 1959.
I was born in Germany where I also received my education, even though I later attended college in Chicago, after I immigrated to the USA in 1957.
I worked as a design engineer after I finished college until I retired to Northwest Arkansas by the end of 1993.
While I worked as an engineer, I also worked on the Saturn 5 rocket, which enabled us to fly to the moon.One of my hobbies is photography.

Thank you so much for your nice comment and your photos are just beautiful also. I'm just learning a little at a time here on how to navigate everything on this site but it's really nice to meet new people our own age and because we live on 3 acres and are quite isolated from any neighbors it is nice to meet and converse on the computer........especially when winter comes around and the snow starts flying. We get kind of house bound then.
