More about me

 I added a new head shot to my profile.  It was taken Mar. '08 of my sister on left, dad in middle and me on the right.  It was right before dad's 87th birthday. I am a happily married woman since the age of 17. I have 4 children--3 boys, 1 girl. My daughter passed away in 2004 at the age of 27. I have lived in Pa, Ca, In, Mi, and Oh. My husbands former job counted for all the moves I have done in my lifetime. I was born in Roaring Spring, Pa. in 1946 and lived in that general area (about 1 1/2 hours east of Pittsburgh) until I got married after graduation. We moved east to Allentown, Pa area. We lived there for 10 years then we moved to Michigan, after that Indiana and finally Ohio.  My husband has his own trucking business and we have a small farm about an hour south of Cleveland, Ohio. We raise beef and hogs for our own use. I do all the bookkeeping for our trucking business.   I am very involved with my grandsons (ages 9 & 10) since they play baseball, football and wrestling. They lost their mommy when they were 6 & 7 and live with their dad. The loss of my daughter was a devastating time in my life.  God has given me the opportunity to take care of them and love them as much as their mommy did.  I enjoy the computer, being with friends, reading, traveling and helping those in need. I am not rich financially but my life is very, very rich in blessings. I am very down to earth, and I want to be a blessing to everyone around me. My parents always taught me to treat people the way that I would want to be treated. I enjoy life and believe that freedom is the most rewarding things that could ever be gotten in this live.
