..I haven't traveled too far from home, but my favorite place is the Adirondack Mountains (anywhere in the mountains) and to Massachusetts, Ithaca, NY (awesome gorges), Howland and Bar Harbor Maine, Philadelphia, New Jersey and once to Washington DC.
By far, I prefer the mountains and the woods to cities any day - hands down.
I encourage you to meet and know yourself, and to find beauty in the miracle of the every day.
"The real miracle is not to walk on water or thin air but to walk on the earth!"

Let the beauty of what you love be what you do. ~ Rumi,
I am surprised by joy and astonished by awe. For the first time in my life I am not wanting, for I have finally come into my own. ~Sarah Ban Breathnach
I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes ~ e.e. cummings
βA bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.β - Maya Angelou
βTo laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. That is to have succeeded.β ~Ralph Waldo Emerson - Favorite People
