 The children are grown and the house is a wreck,

It's only a 150 years old, what the heck? 

A major remodel, "it'll take just a year",

Was how he described it, "So lay aside fear,

A new kitchen for you to cook and to bake",

Eight years later after many a mistake,

MY kitchen's unfinished, but HE got his lake.
