Born in the first "Boom" year of 1946. Had an average youth for one born in that era, but always thought a bit independently from everyone else in my family. Always off the radar from everyone else. A Beat, a Hippie, a yoga-practicing, peace-loving, 1st-birth-order, over-achieving bundle of contradictions who loves to laugh at having the blues. Tastes - especially in cultures and in music - are about as eclectic as it gets. Live and let live.
-
Married in 1967. Had a problem sharing the same space, so I moved out and we get along better now. Who said love had to be painful?
-
Worked fulltime from 1965 to 2001, experienced mobility problems and began receiving disability. Still getting around with use of a cane, but moving more slowly than I'm used to. Grateful for what I can still do, and learning to let go of what I can't. Always looking forward to the next good laugh or the next road trip.

I AM IN AWE OF THE POWER OF WOMEN, AND I'M SO PROUD TO BE ONE. ORDINARY WOMEN CONSISTENTLY DO EXTRAORDINARY THINGS, YET NO ONE EVER KNOWS. Tom Waits, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Jami Floyd, Bryan Ferry. My oldest and dearest friend, Judy. My ex-husband and Life Partner, Tom. My good friend and helper, Greg. Other heroes are those who have a sense of humor, and value tolerance, diversity, respect, justice, compassion and peace.

My kitty, Mookie. All my past & present cats. (Rest easy, Mickey - wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge.) LOVE ANIMALS of ALL KINDS! Favorites: Cats, both domestic and the big ones; bears of all kinds, wolves and all wild dogs - any 4-legged creatures that travel in packs. Eagles, owls, dolphins, tigers, hawks, horses and snakes. A special affinity for elephants for their nature and intelligence. ANY ANIMAL WHO IS OR HAS BEEN, ABUSED.
