Divorced starting over in Washington with my disabled son. I was raised in Northen Ca and throughout the years have lived in different places. I have now settled in Vancouver,Wa, a beautiful area. I have some family here as well.

 I really enjoy the area where things go at a little slower pace. It is close to Portland, Ore where I can go shopping as well or to different events.  Vancouver is growing by leaps and bounds the past few years.  But the people are still very much country folks and very friendly. It is close to so many beautiful places and I can see mount hood and mount St Helen's. 

I am in the process of getting my license to do respite for foster care parents. I am a stay at home Mom with an adult disabled son whom I care for. There is no disabled programs in this area for my son so he can get out once in awhile for fun and to be with others, which is the only draw back to living here. My son is a little boored at being home with mom so much. He is a social kinda guy and I have always worked outside the home. These days we are spending a lot of time together and it doesn't always go well.  Oh well, sometimes we have to learn to adapt in life. Reinvent ourselves I heard the other day. So I guess I am in the process of reinventing myself. And so is my son. So I hope working thru my home will be successful. And my son's and my life will be successful here in this area.

 I would eventually like to invest in real estate and also have a photography business. I am an artist and I have several paintings throughout my house.  I also like to do photography and this is the perfect place to do it.
