    More about me
< I was forced to stop working a year after 911.   I worked close to the Twin Towers, in NY and  I inhaled a lot of that air.  I am now on oxygen therapy. But I don't let it get me down, I use my oxygen only when I am exerting myself, and in my area where I live there are hills, so I have to use the oxygen when I walk.  But enough of the boring stuff.  I am always ready, willing and able to help out when needed. I am very independant.  I still go shopping for myself, and anything else within reason.  I don't like to depend on anyone if I can do it myself (that's my downfall). But If someone wants to give me a hand I won't refuse. I have a son and two lovely grandchildren living in North Carolina, they would love for me to live with them but I'm not ready to give up my freedom yet.  I also have a granddaughter in Florida, who is nineteen now and I love her so much.  I haven't seen her since she was 5 years old. As I stated before I don't go out much (but I would love to).  I don't drive and I am disqusted with NY transit now a days.  My neighborhood doesn't have much going on that interests me.  Years ago I use to love the summer, now I rather go out in the fall or even winter so I could feel the cool air on my face.  I use to go to the parks (Central Park, Botanical Gardens etc.) but as I said traveling in NY is not easy the older you get.  I had a wonderful companion whom I called my godfather.  He passed away a couple of years ago. I use to go on lots of trips with.  I truly miss him.

    Your Psyche is Blue
You are deeply emotional and very connected to everything (and everyone) around you.
By simply understanding other people, you are able to help them heal and let go.
While you are a very deep and thoughtful person, you do have a very silly, superficial side.

When you are too blue: the weight of the world's problems hangs over you

When you don't have enough blue: you lack perspective and understanding

Cats know how to train their owners to do tricks for them, and how to get what they want for food or for fun! I KNOW! Mine trained ME!!

    You are The Star

    Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised

The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.
