About Me
I come from a family of nine children, where my twin sister and I are the oldest. Most of my life has been spent in the same area of Ohio, but I do like to travel. When you are the oldest in a family that large, you really want to get out, so I pretty much married right out of high school. Not the smartest thing to do, but not uncommon at the time. I have two beautiful daughters and one grandson and I now have beautiful 10 week old granddaughter, too. After 27 years of marriage my husband and and were divorced. He is a great guy and we are still friends, but I just couldn't live with him. I worked in food service management, but decided to go back to school about seven years ago to be a medical assistant.

Thank you for your interest in the iris. It is Sheba's Jewell It's ancestry is from the Middle East. I won Queen of the Show with it three years ago at the Riverside, CA flower show.
