Travel: Most the 50 states (and am working on the rest!), and many of the Caribbean islands, Panama Canal, the Azores, Madiera, Gibralter, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, England, Belgium, Germany & Austria.

More about me

I was born in Maine, but have lived in nine states.  I spent 20 years in the Navy, and am now happily retired.  I LOVE to travel and have done numerous cruises, visited many countries in Europe, and I always want to see more and more!  I guess I got a "gypsy" gene!  My only regret is that I don't have the finances to travel as much as I would like.

I lived in Texas for 15 years, raising, breeding & showing Appaloosas, including many state champions, and 1 National & World Champion.  Though I am now widowed and live in an apartment in Florida, I still love horses and miss them.

My husband was a retired Master Chief -- we met & married in the Navy.  He died in 1998 after a long battle with emphysema.  Surviving the grief of widowhood is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done.  It took me several years to begin to truly enjoy life again.

I have a strong sense of adventure, a wacky sense of humor, (as if you couldn't tell from my profile page and my photos) and love to learn new things. 

I've attended 5 colleges (never got my degree), and since I was an art major, that makes me an educated, unskilled idiot.  :)

I paint a little, draw a little, but these days I am mostly involved with photography and graphic art.  I love to combine the two, as you will see in my pictures.  Because many of them are graphics you will need to click on the individual photos in order to see them properly.
