Oh, I was hoping this would be a questionnaire!  But no, I have to actually give this some thought and tell you whatever I want to.  

I'm 53.  I desparately want to be slender.....but seem to lack the dedication or determination to get there.  Still looking for that magic solution.  I could just describe myself as "undertall" since I'm only 5'3".

I collect short novels about the CampFire Girls.  A lot of these were written in the early 1900's (1907-1922) and then some more about 1930 or so.  They present a very interesting picture of our country as seen by people living then.  Attitudes that are shocking -- like when my grand-father told me about when the first "white" person moved into Krebs, Okla. -- Krebs was founded by Italians -- they're not white?!  They also include a lot about woman's place in society at that time and how some people wanted it to change.  It's interesting to read how our society has changed and also, how it has remained the same.

I have studied Spanish since 9th grade and am busy getting certified as an interpreter.  Should only be another 2 years of school but what the hey!  What would I be doing otherwise?

As I child I hungered for a relationship with the Lord and am continuing to learn, grow, worship and serve.   I see lack of service as one of the problems in Christianity today.  (Including my not doing enough for others.)

I love to read -- mostly science fiction/fantasy or historical novels.  Elizabeth Peters and Anne McCaffrey are two of my favorite authors.

Well, surely that's enough about me to start with.
