Places I've been

The most important place in my life is the community OF St. John, close to Willow Grove, where I lived on a farm with my parents until the age of 12.. When I became an orphan...then we were brought to Lafayette, Tn.which I left down through life for one reason or another ,but later in late fifties came back to ..put down roots, bought a home and lived in that home raised my 3 sons.. lived there 39 years, until last October.. bought another house on other side of town where I now live.Lived in Bowling Green,Ky.,Louisa, Ky., Nashville,TN.the early years of marriage,but like the small town life and wanted to put down roots for my children.Went to Nasauu on Paradise Island , Florida,Rome,GA. And discovered, There's No Place Like Home.

I DO NOT LIKE TALKING ABOUT ME...So here goes...I am a very active 74 year old widow, have lost two husbands, first one in 91 with heart attack, second one in 2002 to cancer. I love this time of my life ...I love gardening, Interior Design, have a few credit hours in design, which is my first love. Just bought another home after living in same house 39 years, right now am in process of decorating it, which I throughly enjoy. I love to cook, in second heaven when cooking for crowd, I also do oil painting,Like all kind of music but hard rock, my favorite music at this time of my life is Easy Listening,classical,and some of the  blue grass country, I walk 2to 3 miles every day, do water arobics twice a week. do volunteer work in Nursing Home,and Tutoring with slow learners two days week.Belong to a singing Group ,"Sing For Joy," we go into Assisted Living,Nursing Homes,and Retirement Homes and entertain them.It is wonderful being this age,you have time to enjoy the simple things in life and as I have discovered", the most important".

Interior Design, re-doing a house I just moved into, Gardening Club, Doing Volunteer work at Nursing Home, Tutoring slow Learners, Water Arobics and how to stay active and healthy.
