Minneapolis/St Paul - Lived there for one yr. Sioux Falls, S.D. - lived there for 11 yrs, a nice city, now growing fast. Now live in NE Utah, Vernal. Nice enuf, but not quite big enuf. It's 170 mi. thru the Mountains to Salt Lake City!! We have done some travelling. I love it. On a cruise in the Carribean (my fav). To Peurto Vallarta, Cancun and Hawaii, the island of Kauaii (beautiful). (We went before the hurricane got it.)

Hi, I'm jujo51. I live in Vernal Utah, originally from South Dakota. I have 2 beautiful daughters, 1 handsome step son and 1 beautiful step daughter. I have 3 biological grandkids, 2 girls and 1 boy and i have 2 step grandsons. (Quite a brood actually.) I've been married "this time" 22 years. I have 1 Chihuahua who is my "best friend." I am disabled due to fibromyalgia but I manage to live within my limitations (I have to.) I like to watch movies, read, watch TV and be outdoors in the summer in my garden.

Surgery was moved up to 10/28 which helped. My Mom was ill and i needed to get home to be there for her. So on Nov. 8th Doc removed my staples from my knee and i flew home that day. Mom had cancer and she passed away on Nov. 24, 2009. My daughter was there w/ me when she passed. It was tough for her to see. But she made it thru it. We couldn't wish her back, not in the shape she was in. She's up in heaven now w/ my brother and my Dad. They're probably playing golf or they're already on the 19th hole!! At any rate, her pain is gone now and she's whole again and healthy. I'd like to think of her that way. Her funeral was wonderful. She had already asked the soloists to sing at her funeral and they both said yes. I asked 2 of my cousins to speak and a very good friend of Mom's. They all did a very nice job. Even the minister got choked up and couldn't speak for a couple of minutes. It was a beautiful service!! Then came the time to empty out her apartment, what a job. I swear that the woman never threw out a thing (she was from that generation). And we had found tons and tons of pictures. Her filing system was all off, what heading she had on the folder was not even close to what was in it, so we have to go thru every one of them (2 file drawers full of "stuff"). And that's already after 2 file drawers have been gone thru. I don't know what i would have done had my hubby not been there!! He was a godsend!! We threw out lots and lots of "stuff". We had to rent a U-haul and a dolly to bring our car back. She was a clothes horse and a 2nd Imelda Marcos if you will. (lots and lots of shoes). She will be missed by many!! (I'll be glad when the estate is all settled.) Soon, I hope!! Needless to say, our Christmas wasnt very merry. I'm glad it's behind us now. And i hope that 2010 will bring us a better year!!!
