More about me

I am a happy Southern Christian Lady.mother, grandmother, and friend. I have too many interest to list. But my favorite things are my church, being a grandmother, alias (GG), holidays, gospel music, traveling, movies, fishing, flowers, and vegetable gardens. I have two wonderful boys, one married, one single, one great daughter-in-law, and two beautiful grand-daughters. I am blessed with a big family, four sisters, and one brother, and a world of great niecies and nephews. I am the type of person that is going to be happy and comfortable where ever I am or I am going to exit. 

Activities

There isn't much that I don't enjoy. I love rodeos, tractor pulls, flea markets, traveling, fishing, antiques shops and junk stores. I am not good at golf, but I enjoy watching. I paint, and collect and restore dolls. I have made a few porcelain ones, and I do ceramics. I enjoy painting wildlife the best, though. I love working in my flowers, and my yard is a work in progress. But my main interest is being a grandmother, mother and friend. I stay busy.

Southern Gospel is my favorite, BUT I like all kinds of music except heavy metal and rap. I like the old CW, the kind they play on Willie's Place, love hip hop, the oldies, the kind that makes you want to get up and dance. I like to listen to Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, Carol King. BB King. And I even like some classical.

Favorite TV Shows

All the CSI, Two and a Half Men, Law and Order documentary shows Some of my favorite channels are, the History , NGEO, PBS, HGTV, DIY, Travel, Fox news, The Hallmark channel

Favorite Movies

too many to list. but a few are Forest Gump, Wizard of Oz, I enjoyed all the Lord of the Ring movies, I just saw Hairspray and liked it. African Queen, Second Hand Lion, John Wayne Westerns, Lonesome Dove series

Favorite Books

Bible, I don't read novels, too busy with other interest. I have a lot of art and craft books.

Favorite Places

My home, but I don't think that is what it means. I am a mountain person, not much for the sun and sand. But I do love the palm trees, and the beach after the sun goes down.

Favorite Animals

I enjoy watching all animals. And I can't stand to see any being mistreated. But as far as a pet, my favorite is a dog.
