Places I've been

Visit Tucson, AZ where my son is in college. Toured Kitt Peak and the Sonora desert. Traveled to Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC and San Francisco for training recently. Chicago was my favorite. Enjoyed the national sites in Washington. Visited Niagra Falls and Las Vegas for business conferences. Toured the Hoover Dam while in Nevada. Cruised the Gulf of Mexico and visited the ruins on the mainland and the Cancun beaches. Vacationed on several Florida beaches, Destin most recently. Visited Wilmington NC on the Atlantic coast for a conference recently. Enjoyed many mountain vacations in Gatlingburg TN and one in Blairsville, GA. Saw the birthplace of Elvis in Tupelo MS and Graceland in Memphis. Travel to Nashville TN fairly often for business. I prefer to take the less-traveled route near Cumberland Falls State Park. Drive to Atlanta airport quite often but Charlotte NC has the best airport ever.

More about me

My familiy consists of a husband, a son, a daughter, two step-daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandsons. My son is in college about 1500 miles away. Everyone else lives nearby.

I have a 25-year career in Information Technology and my husband is a postal carrier. We recently moved to a smaller home in a small town and we are READY TO RETIRE in a few years. 

Life is great and God is good!

 

Activities

I am involved in elementary children's ministry at my church. I teach a Sunday morning class in a kitchen classroom and help in the computer lab for children's choir. I trained in TaeKwonDo for eight years starting at age 35 and earned a black belt. Now my oldest grandson is learning the martial art.

North American wolves are my favorite wild animals. I have a collection of cow items. And I am a CAT person as far as pets go. Currently I only have two cats.
