Places I've been

I have traveled up and down the East Coast, gypsy style and racing Standard Bred horses. I love that life style, new people and places all of the time. I'm flexible and playful. I love the state of Maine. I have been to Bermuda and Nevada and loved both for the difference of them. Actually, I have been to every northeastern state, but never to the Pacific Coast. I am a professional person now, surprise!, a social worker. I have worked with my states DSS, Department of Social Services and on the other hand, as a Medical Social Worker with a Hospice. I don't know if this stuff belongs here, but it's who I am.

I live by the sea in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.  I live in the Harbor and am 1 street across from the sea.  I live in the center with quaint little antique shops and other artisans.  I know everybody in the neighborhood, which I really like.  I am a social worker.  Ever since I've been 11 years old, I've wanted to be a social worker.  I have worked for DSS, which is our child protection agency, a hospice, substitute teacher, and now as a house parent for behaviorally challenged kids.  I was married for 28 years and we had 1 son, our "miracle" child.  It was a miracle that we all survived!  Then, I divorced my husband, moved around a little, met my second husband and moved to Fairhaven.  I am now a widow, after only 1 1/2 years of marriage.  I have 6 cats and 4 birds.  One of my birds is only 3 inches long and while I type he says "stop it, stop it, stop it!"  I love life and I know the best is yet to come.

My deceased husband's daughter, Lisel. She has saved me many times from the anguish I feel. So has my best friend Pat. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's always there for me.

I love to travel. Fairhaven, my town, is probably my favorite place. I also love Sarasota, Florida.

Activities

I take jewelry classes. I love to walk. I enjoy volunteer work. I am an avid reader. I have a store on eBay, which is a lot of fun. I sell antiques and collectibles.

Champs Cat Shelter in Wareham. Make a Wish, for life threatened or terminal ill children. St. Judes Hospital for Children. Soldiers Angels, this is to "adopt" a soldier.

Favorite Animals

I love ALL animals. I share my life with 6 cats and 4 birds. I would have a dog, but cannot in this apartment. I have had horses and goats. I really enjoy a goats personality, they're a lot of fun.
