Maryland, Washington, Wisc. Az, New Mexico, Tx Hawaii, Calif. Oh Boy! Way too many places to list. A lot of which were from my Rt. 66 travels I'm a Navy Brat so I moved every few years. Lived in Hawaii on the island of Oahu until I moved to Ca. in 1962 Now I'm very rooted here although I did a gig in Nevada and I've traveled Rt. 66 back to Wisc. several times. I've been to Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Wisc. Dells, Carlsbad Caverns, Painted Desert, Golden Gate Bridge, Old Faithful, Petrified Forest and various other places.

I originally joined Eon's on a bet but then I formed the "Musicians, Singers and Bands" discussion group and met some nice people here so it's no longer a bet. Funny how things change. But still,  be forewarned that although I like meeting people, I'm not really looking for anything other than friendship  

  Now for the "about me" part. I have been widowed for less than five years. I am a semi-retired (I retired when my husband died) professional singer and am coming out of retirement. You can read more about me and hear short clips of some of my live performances with my husband at

 Although my grief forced me to retire, I am now
auditioning musicians so I will be back in the business soon.

  I'm a strong willed, independent woman who likes strong, independent people. I'm quick witted, sarcastic, opinionated  and painfully honest.

 Obviously, being an entertainer I've learned how to like, find something good in, and get along with almost everybody so I'm not judgemental.

  I don't use or like to hear foul langauge or negative attitudes so don't do it if you send me a message.

  What God has done for me often comes up in conversation but I don't preach. It's just statements about my life and since God has been a major part of my life through all of it,  it's only obvious that He would come up in conversation.

 When I'm not gigging, I usually just enjoy being home but I do go out for a drink or for dinner with my friends about 2 or 3 times a month so I'm not a complete loner but I do enjoy my solitude.

Activities

I normally like to just be alone at home. Cleaning, rearranging, tv and computer stuff but I am currently getting back into the music business and am putting together a trio or more. Whatever musicians I interview that have the right sound and experience will determine the size of the band. Also, the venue would obviously be a determining factor.

Don't like Rock, Rap or Raggae. I often tell people that my repertoire consists of everything but the "R's" but I do sing Classic Rock and R&B so I guess I need to quit saying that I don't do "R's"
