More about me

I live in the mountains of California with my 2 dogs and a cat.  Am finding that it is nice to be in my 50's - I no longer worry about a lot of things that were of the utmost importance in my 20/30's.  Things like is my hair just right,, how's my makeup, etc.  I've always been very thin and now I've put on a few pounds and it doesn't bother me.  Except I can't wear my old clothes anymore... ;)  People no longer tell me to get something to eat!  And it's all okay.  Isn't that amazingly different!

I'm retired due to a disability - had neck surgery twice - and the best thing about it is I can explore my creativity now.  Which is not as easy as it sounds - so it keeps me challenged.  I spend a lot of time sewing, quilting, beading, gardening and trying to keep my house picked up!

I'd love to find a relationship that would last for the rest of my life.  Wouldn't we all?  But it's not the foremost thing in my life right now.  Today it feels good to be by myself most times.  I keep myself busy, but having another to share experiences with would be grand I think.  ;) 

I don't have a clue what else to say right now....  I'll edit this when I can think of something clever to say!
