Places I've been

I have traveled to California, Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Illinois, Florida, Michigan, Virginia. I am sure I am leaving some out that I can't think of right now, but Alabama has always been my home and always will be, by choice. It's a beautiful state with everything from mountains to beaches.

I have one son, two sisters,  unfortunately no grand children. love animals of any kind.  I retired April 1 this year, 6 months early because I had a series of stokes and surgery in December, and have been unable to return to work.  I have looked forward so much to retiring, but this was not the way I imagined it, but I am thrilled to never have to go back.

I love to read, play on the computer, sell on ebay,  love to take naps.

My dream is to open a animal rescue shelter, will have to win the lottery first because I have no rich relatives.

I have a cat (Tommy) who was a stray and he adopted me, click on his picture to see that he has a degree in Interior Design and knows exactly how throw rugs should be placed on the floor.

I also have a bird (Smokey) who is a white face cockatiel very beautiful but mean as a rattlesnake. 

I am a huge University of Alabama Football Fan.  Roll Tide!

I also am a big fan of Taylor Hicks the 2006 American Idol Winner.   If you haven't been to one of his concerts, go the next time he is in your area, you will have a blast.  I have some of his videos  posted.
