More about me

I am an RN busily serving my country here in Yuma.    I have a son, 32, and a daughter, 29 and really enjoy the wonderful climate in AZ.  It hardly ever rains here; it's always a sunny day and I can spend a lot of time outside in the yard or reading on the patio.  I'm a country girl at heart and live out in the foothills away from the hustle and bustle of the town which is growing rapidly.  I love my Lord Jesus Christ and am awaiting His return.  I love my country and am PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!

 People I know tell me that I have a strange sense of humor and have a unique way of looking at things.  They think that I am very funny, but I think that sometimes I just talk too much!

As you can tell from the pictures I posted, I absolutely LOVE Yorkies.  I lost my little 12 year old, Hollie Jo, on Jan. 15, 2006 and was absolutely devastated.  I got online, went to AKC and found Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue and adopted my precious Jojo on Feb. 4, 2006. His former family had moved and just left him to fend for himself. I don't understand people like that.  I honestly don't know if I rescued him or if he rescued me. He is my best friend and my little shadow.  I highly recommend anyone wanting a yorkie to check out this link:  www.yorkierescue.com.  They are great people who do a wonderful service for these little angels.
