Hi,

I'm Teri.  Although I am just a little younger, I am in such awe of those women who have reached the so-called "age of excellence" (60+) who continue to stay active in some type of activity regardless of their circumstances.  Rather than live in "pity city" they are out there doing something to insure a greater quality of life.  It is so inspiring to me to have someone to guide and mentor me along as I travel down my own highway of life. 

Albeit I have several life dreams, my passions are teaching and dancing.  I am a member of a clog dancing and a line dancing team both of which perform at various community events.  Along with my full-time career of teaching at the community college, I have also been fortunate to combine both of my passions to teach line dance classes. 

Activities

Clog dancing, line dancing, line dance instructor/choreographer, college instructor, I am also on several town committees because I love being involved with all of the events going on around our town. I also enjoy doing creative things such as decorating my house for various events and making cards for everyone. A variety of techniques are used for the cards including stamping, quilling, and adding other embelishments. One thing I can say is that I do get a lot of things done each day and try to stay very active. Our dance teams perform at many charity and community-related events as well as at the senior center and the local rehabilitation center.
