More about me: Teaching children for 39 years has brought many experiences to my life. The children undoubtly taught me more than they learned from me. Many of them, as well as their parents remain my friends today after 3 years of retirement.

My high school and college graduation days were uneventful, but the day I recieved my Master's degree was a wonderful and unbelieveable achievement for me. School was a struggle and I never forgot that when I was teaching.

Being in the delivery room when my grandson was born and holding that precious bundle in my arms was something that words cannot express. I think that was a greater experience than the birth of my daughter.

I love to travel. I am adventurous. I am healthy even though I am a full figured woman. Hot air balloons and roller coasters still have me wanting more. The thrill of the ride.

Honesty, respect and understanding are very important characteristics. My life experiences have taught me the hard way that those three words are imperative!
