Hi, I am a medical assistant for a busy surgery practice.  I have been there over 19 years and I love my job.  I love working with my patients and my co-workers. 

I have raised 3 wonderful children who are all grown up now and busy with their own lives but still look to me as their rock.  What a complement from my kids:)  I have several beautiful grandkids that think I walk on water...at least for now.

I have been divorced for over 7 years and am doing fine.  I am responsible, kind, dependable, trustworthy, I strive to be a good person.  I own my own home and take care of my bills.  You only get one chance to go through this life and I want to be able to look back and know I did my best.

I have the coolest truck, a hotrod, that I got for my 50th birthday, everyone is allowed one fun thing that is absolutely out of the norm.  It goes really fast and it calls out to me to punch it sometimes!

Activities

I like to go for walks. I enjoy going out to dinner and visiting at the table. I like to go camping, hiking, fishing and going for drives in the mountains. I enjoy listining to music and enjoy various kinds depending on my mood. I enjoy working in my yard and keep busy pulling weeds, mowing and keeping it looking nice..I like to read and play on the net sometimes and of course I like to watch TV on occasion.

Favorite Charities

Hospice is one of the most wonderful charities around. They do so much for the patient, the family and friends.

Favorite Music

I was raised on country music but my kids introduced me to lots of various kinds of music over the years. I love the rock and roll from the 70's!

Favorite TV Shows

I enjoy watching CSI, Criminal minds, Monk, Psych, Law and Order and some comedy shows

Favorite Movies

The Pirate movies with Johnny Depp and about anything with Robin Williams.

Favorite Books

I like to read books about solving crimes using the evidence. Patricia Cornwell is a wonderful author and I have read all her books.

Favorite Quotes

There will always be life changing events, but they do not have to life ending. If you go to a pity party for yourself, try to arrive late and leave early. If you wake up in a red room with no windows, don't panic, you are in my heart.

Favorite Places

I love Colorado. There is so many beautiful places ot explore here. But have enjoyed the beauty of other states as well. And I would love to travel more in Australia or New Zealand if I had the chance again.

I love cats, dogs, fish...seems like I have always had a pet.
