I got married in '75 to my husband Jack. I was 22, just 10 days short of turning 23. Jack was 49. He was a Detroit bus driver, DOT. and an instructor. We were married 23 years until his death in "98. Worked in the school system as a cook & worked my way up to head cook. Now I know why the title is such, cuz you have a lot of head aches.

Was involved in my son's life as a marching band booster, organizing fundraisers, being the treasurer & chaperone. Joined a garden club & was treasurer of that too, at the same time. Was in the garden club about 12 years. After my husbands passing in '98, I went to several places in Florida, Virginia, Tennessee. I was traveling for about 6 years. I just recently moved back to Michigan, after experiencing the loss of my soulmate of 4 years & am enjoying my son's life again. Each day is a new adventure. I thank the good Lord that I am still alive and kickin'.
