Places I've been

Chicago (Hometown), Actually, I'm a person who has lived in the same area all their life. I wonder if that's unusual these days? But I like the midwest. My family is here and except for the winter, the weather is nice too. I guess I'm biased since I've not experienced a lot of other places LOL. I 'm looking forward to meeting new people though and having lots of places to travel to when I retire.

I recently decided to change directions in my life and I'm enjoying my life now more than at any other time. One of the best things is that I get teach others to do the same.

It's great to have a focus and direction. I'm interested in meeting positive minded people all over the world who want to move towards a better, more positive lifestyle.

You can never have too many friends :-)

We all have something in common already -- Baby Boomer. I don't feel old at all and I think it's true - age IS just a number.

It's a journey we're all on and I'm having lots of fun at this point in my life. I know I'll meet some wonderful people who will become good friends.

Maybe we'll make a connection too.

Favorite Music

I like Jazz, Piano. Ramsey Lewis among others. I like John Legend - Dare to Dream. (I’m a “wanna-be” pianist) I like Classical - Beethoven is nice to listen to while I'm multi tasking. Bach is good to listen to when I want to relax too. And I love Christian Music. My personal favorite right now is Israel and the New Breed--"With long life". You gotta listen to the words; Excellent!

Favorite TV Shows

I don't really have a favorite TV show because I try not to watch TV. I am kinda getting into the food network. I may even learn how to cook someday. But I have to admit that I record "General Hospital". It's a constant that I'll watch late at night to wind down with after a busy day. I like following the lives of the characters. The soap has been on for 40 years. Ya gotta know how rare that is. -- OK, everybody has one bad habit :-)

Favorite Movies

There's many of them. But one that comes quickly to mind is "Facing the Giants". If you haven't seen it - check it out. I really like the old black and white movies. Betty Davis, Katherine Hepburn. Rosalind Russell and Barbara Stanwyck. The writing was so much better for women back in the Studio Era.

Favorite Books

Yay Books! Do you have a success library? You know I do since I'm into personal growth. Tons of favorites -- two that come quickly to mind: Feel the fear and do it anyway by Susan Jeffers, PhD. and The Power of your subconscious mind by Joseph Murphy PhD and Why we want you to be rich by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, And of course the greatest and my favorite success book of all is - The Bible: Basic-Instructions-Before-Leaving-Earth
