Places I've been

I love the Outer Banks of North Carolina, but have traveled to many other beaches along the east coast. I've been to many places in Jersey, and especially love Long Beach Island and the Cape May area. I've been to Virginia Beach several times as well as Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. My oldest daughter lived in Niagara Falls, NY for awhile and I enjoyed visiting her there and going across the Rainbow Bridge into Canada. My favorite and most memorable trip, however, was 6 years ago when I traveled with a special male friend to the Gulf Coast where we spent several weeks enjoying New Orleans (several times to Bourbon Street), Biloxi, and Gulfport. This was pre-Katrina, and was some of the most beautiful scenery I have been blessed to see. I'm not sure if I'd want to go back since the hurricane hit---I'm sure it would be so different.

Activities

Spending time with my 3 beautiful grandchildren, photography, reading, all things in nature, taking long walks, the beach, camping, gardening, the Internet, traveling

All kinds of music--every day is different. I especially like anything by Enrique Iglesius, and Jon Bon Jovi

Titanic, Dirty Dancing, and for the kid in me---Cars!!

Anything by James Patterson, John Grisham, Kristen Hannah, Nora Roberts

Favorite Places

Any beach, but mostly the Outer Banks. I just love the majestic waves and the serenity of the beach in the early morning. I feel at peace with myself every time I experience the ocean---and would someday like to move somewhere near the coastline.

Favorite Animals

I love tigers and polar bears---and I can't forget the dolphins!! Such majestic---yet docile creatures!!
