The most beautiful places I know are the Appalachian Mountains and Blackwater River in Dorchester County, MD. I love to be in places where Nature still has a voice.

More about me

LIfe comes at you, no matter whether you think you are ready for it or not. Loss of loved ones moves you beyond anything familiar. I lost my dearest and best. Yet, here I am. I am not gone.I am transforming. I am still becoming. The Lord is definitely not through with me.

I know the Lord has a plan for me, as for all of us.Because of Jesus Christ, I have a future.

"See, I have engraved you upon the palm of my hands." Isaiah 49:16.

In all I do , in my own personal ministry, I hope to  help and encourage.

I intend to continue with my blogs, about life, family, and the art and wonder of being a pilgrim, loved and traveling through here.

With me, on this amazing journey,Ihave my two beautiful daughters, and family and friends who help shape me, and I them.

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between 2 wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, ignorance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee simply replied.. “The one you feed.”

Goldenrod heralds the change, The land the fields are tired, They begin to gladly Offer their crops, their fruit, Ready to be shorn, to wait. Soon the tractors will strip them, And they will sleep, Fall has begun to peek, Though summer holds tightly To her adornments, Arguing with autumn's approach With heated remarks each day. Yet, she too will surrender, The seasons march on, And with them comes new, New whats and new whens. The change begins to look As if it has been measured, Decided, and calibrated To deliver wrinkles in the brow Of Grandfather Time. And me. bmills 83009 copyright
