More about me

I live alone since my daughter Married and moved out last year. I have three grown children and two grandchildren. I work full time in a retail store. I think I am going through my second childhood. Right now I am really into redoing my mobile home, you know picking paint colors, choosing pictures and trying to figure out what I really like. I love lighthouses and things that remind me of the beach. So mostly the theme running through my home is sand and sun etc. I'm trying to incorperate the country cottage look with it. I'm having more fun making the decisions than I am actually doing the work. I want to have a nice flower garden but that proves to be a little more work than I'm physically able to do on my own so I'm busy hunting shortcuts and things to make it easier to get started. I sure was happy to find a site for over fifties where I might find more people with things in common with me. Most of the other sites cater to teens and tweens that don't care about home stuff and flower stuff that much. I sure hope to find many new friends here.

Activities

I love to read when time permits. I like to play on the computer although I don't do chat rooms. I love to putter around the house just changing this and that. I like quiet alone time and I have a super little dog that keeps me company.

I like soft relaxing smooth music most of the time. I do have my country music days and even my Pink floyd days and some kid rock and eminem and nellie days.
