About Me
I am a happy, healthy, native "Mainah." I spent several years in Florida, and after returning to Maine in '06, and 200 inches of snow in the'07-'08 winter, my mantra is, "Why did I think this was a good idea?"
I am a widow and my family lives here, I guess that is a good enough reason. I have grown children, a daughter and a son, four handsome grandsons, four grand dogs and brothers and sisters whom I adore. We are a close family and do lots of fun stuff together, so I will continue to endure the god forsaken winters for them. Life is sacrifice!
My hobbies are quilting, reading, cooking and gardening. I volunteer at a local food pantry. I love all kinds of music, have fun with my virtual friends and generally enjoy life. Here's to music, wine, chocolate and laughter......"life may not be the party we hoped for, while we are here we may as well dance."

~~Attitude~~ There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head. Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today." So she did and she had a wonderful day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. "H-M-M," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?" So she did and she had a grand day.
