Places I've been

I don't know where to start but I grew up in a suburb of Cleveland until age 18 when I went away to college. My parents were really great.I got to go to Europe twice where I learned to love history and learning about other cultures. I got my BS in education from the University of Cincinnati in 1971 and off to Chicago I went to explore new frontiers. There, I got married and we moved to Bloomington, IL ( I've actually been in all 3 Bloomingtons - IL, IN, and MN ) My daughter Victoria was born there in 1975. We ended up moving back to Chicago, and then Ft. Wayne, Indiana where my son Alex was born in 1983 and my marriage ended. I went back to college to get my MLS from Indiana University and moved to Philadelphia for a job. In 2002 I moved to NJ for an upper level library job which didn't work out so now I am in Florida working for another library and hope to retire in 5 years. Thanks to my Mom, I have been able to travel alot but there are still places I want to visit and explore

I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio but consider Philadelphia my home since I lived there for 15 years.  I now live in Florida because my job took me there.  I am 5'1" tall, brown hair and brown eyes.  I have a house which I love and 2 cats.  I have 2 adult children, both of whom live up North.  I love spectator sports, ballet, history, gardening, the arts, and the beach ( especially the NJ shore)as well as liberal politics. I have moved around a lot but have always managed to pick myself up and start over again with my life.  I try to look on the bright side of things and know that life is what you make of it. Looking for new friends to chat with and/or hang out with.

Activities

I volunteer at a foodbank twice a week. I am very active with social justice issues at my church and involved in politics. I go to water exercize twice a week. I love to work in my garden; watch baseball games, and read.
