More about me

Hello, and welcome to my page. Please sign my Guest Book.

First, Iam a Christian. I try hard to love everyone, and treat them as I want to be treated.  It doesn't matter your belief. You are my friend. Iam also a bladder cancer survivor. Also, I have type 2 diabetes.

I love music, and it has been a huge part of my life. Iam an old hippie, that sang in bands for almost all of my life. I still sing when I get a chance, even karaoke.

Iam big on family, and I have a daughter, son, and a granddaughter. I lost my son Matthew, and Iam dealing with that every day.

I love to cook, travel, collect things, and meet new people. Iam very "green" minded, and I hate waste, and anything that harms the environment. I have made alot of changes in my own life because of this.

My friends mean everything to me! Life is too short for games and lies. I do neither. I think one of the best things is, getting to know the real person that is a friend. A true friend is there for you 24 - 7!

I go to a great church, and Iam very active in it. We're small, but the church is very Spirit filled.

If you are ever this way, stop in and say hello! Peace!

Remembering - Go ahead and mention my child, The one that died, you know. Don't worry about hurting me further. The depth of my pain doesn't show. Don't worry about making me cry. I'm already crying inside. Help me to heal by releasing The tears that I try to hide. I'm hurt when you just keep silent, Pretending he didn't exist. I'd rather you mention my child, Knowing that he has been missed. You asked me how I was doing. I say "pretty good" or "fine". But healing is something ongoing I feel it will take a lifetime. ~ Elizabeth Dent.

A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS. ......... 1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful. 2. Give me time to understand what you want of me 3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being. 4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you. 5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me. 6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. 7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you. 8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak. 9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old. 10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so. ~Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful experience without God's critters.
