More about me

I'm your everyday woman...mom, Grams, sis, aunt, friend, coworker.  I've been on my own a number of years now, and while it was thrust on me sooner than I ever anticipated, I've found that I've grown quite comfortable in this life of mine.  Might that equate to "in a rut"????  I like to think not. 

 I enjoy my kids, and see them regularly.  I like to think its a nice balance of being a part of their lives, and not an intrusion.  Seems to be working, they keep coming around.  :)  

 Speaking of work, I'm looking forward to retirement, but still like my job.  I know it will be bittersweet when the time comes, but it's a natural course of events, isn't it?

 And I keep my fingers in a few "pots" so I can have a variety of interests.  I quilt, play at painting, enjoy a good book now and again, and geocache.  I always have a list of projects to work on around the house.   Jack of all trades, master of none, as my Dad would say.
