Places I've been

Michigan (Hometown), I haven't traveled as much as I would like to. Lived most of my life in Michigan and to tell the truth, I love my homestate! I love the seasons and the lakes. I have lived in Florida, I have visited Reno and Las Vegas NV, parts of Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Georgia. Have spent time in Canada...Sault St. Marie, Toronto. Would like to some day visit New York City, Australia, Nova Scotia, Prince Edwward Island, New Foundland, New Zealand, England, Scotland and Paris France!

Give me a small lake to look out on or to float around in a small rowboat and I am in heaven. Campfire chats with friends, sitting on a dock, closing my eyes and listening to the water as it laps up on the shore, the call of the loons, frogs singing their baratone songs, the feel of the wind rustling thru my hair and gently blowing in my ears. The smell of the water and the ground. And as the seasons change, the sounds and the smells change and I look forward to every one of them.

Dance, dance, dance....close my eyes and move!

Yard sales, flea markets, and junk stores are among my "must sees". Usually I am just looking, but occasionally there is that one special item! I would love to travel seeing some more of the United States and then abroad. New Zealand, Australia, Greenland, England, Scotland, and maybe a little tour thru Tuscany (Under the Tuscan Sun). I would like to see parts of Poland, where my maternal grandfather came from.

Laughing is good for the soul and relieves stress and I do my best to share it with others. I love to see people enjoying themselves!

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

Getting up at 4 a.m. to go over to son's and take care of my granddaughter while he goes to work. I am not a MORNING person...stay up until 4 a.m., now that is normal.
