Places I've been

I've been to Tijuana once when I was twelve. Have been to Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Went to Kentucky, Fort Bragg to see my son graduate boot camp, in '89. I did have a major vacation road trip just last month. My son & his family invited me to go to Moab, Utah for some serious bike riding. They rode, I and my granddtr took a much easier hike to view the local rock formations. Although I did hike to Delicate Arch. What an experience! I saw sights I didn't know existed, along the way to the Grand Canyon. One of my places to see. One down and many more to see.

In thirty seconds;   I'm a very complicated person that even I don't know what I am going to do from one minute to the next.  I'm not a big talker, mostly a listner.  I like being in a room full of people and mingle among groups of people and listen to conversations.  I've learned that there are people who do the talking and people who just listen.  I learn alot about places, ideas, what people are about and what they care about, all sorts of things.  I especially like to tune in to body language.  That is very interesting.  Sometimes that says more about the person than actually speaking.  If you really tune in, what someone is saying isn't what they really mean.  I don't like negative and tend to propel to positive energy.  

Activities

Reading, watching lots of TV, sewing, knitting, crochet, cloth doll sewing, scrapbooking, photo taking, computer, walking, hiking, biking, swimming, bird watching, whale watching, star gazing, moon watching, party planning, crafting, woodworking, doll collecting, glamour dressing, styling, make-up, costume designing, (Holloween), I especially love kids and plan games and stories to entertain, I love animals and any sports.

Favorite Charities

I am especially fond of our armed forces and contribute to the Disable Vets. Boys Town, Salvation Army, etc. I guess I contribute to whatever envelope shows up at my mail box. I wish I could contribute more, but then there is only so much we can give. So now I just sign up for a walk/run and know that I will be contributing yearly to the same organization.

Favorite Music

I like most music, not rap or some jazz. Mostly music I can dance to. I like classical for napping.

Favorite TV Shows

My very favorite is the Dog Whisper, the National Geographic, the Animal Planet, HGTV, just about every program on that station, I love doing things with my hands. I love movies with a message. I don't like stupid comedies. I like documentaries and true stories. I just think your mind needs to grow with information. I don't know what I'm going to do with all that info, but it just makes me feel good that I'm learning.
