More about me

I am a stay at home mom....still.  I have 6 children.  Three are my adult birth children.  My oldest is 30 and married and living in Jacksonville, FL.  My second child is 27 and has my one grandson who is now 7 months old.  They live in Bemidji and my daughter is a PCA (personal care assistant) for my younger children.  My next daughter is now 24 and she lives in Casper, WY.  I miss her and wish she were closer.  My second group of children starts with Sam.  He is 12 and adopted special needs.  We got him when he was 15 months.  He is doing much better than I ever though possible a few years ago.  Garrett is 6 and also adopted special needs.  He is now in Kindergarten for the second time and having a lot of behavior problems.  He has epilepsy along with developmental delay and hypotonia (and a few other things!)  Autumn is my youngest.  She will be three on Dec. 31.  She is my brother's grand daughter.  She is in early intervention and is on an IEP as well.    As you can see, if you have read this far, I am busy.  I do have a lot of help though.  I try to have a PCA here at all times in case something goes wrong or one of the children have a melt down.  I started painting two years ago (well I have done it off and on my whole life, but in seriousness) . I really am into my art and have a new studio.  I belong to a co-op gallery and several artist groups here in town.  I am having the time of my life and would not give it up for anything!
