I have visited all of the states in the U.S., except Alaska many times. I have also visited China twice, I have been to South Africa, Germany, France, Amstadam, Belguim, Brazil, South America, Italy, Mexico, and Jamica. I will be visiting Australia in July 2008. I also have a trip planned to the Congo (Africa) in February 2008.

More about me

I was born in 1938 (you do the math). I work full time in the area of social justice advocacy. I LOVE my job and have no plans to retire. I am a divorced Roman Catholic (that's ok with me and the church). I'm very active in my faith. I have 3 children  and nine grandchildren. I have no concerns about them because they are all in a very good place in every way. I never wish that I can do anything because I do, or at least try to do everything that I want. I believe that if you want something, you should do what's necessary to get it. If you can't get it, then why want it? Life is good and sweet.

Favorite Quotes

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." "If it's not necessary for the salvation of my soul, it's not worth any worry." and "It's not about me." The first one keeps my life peaceful. The last two are my quotes. and they pretty much keep my life uncomplicated.

Favorite People

I have great admiration and respect for the people that worked and even died to help bring about some type of justice to our society. It's unfortunate that for the most part, they are all dead. I often ponder about the current void and when or if we will see justice prevail.

Favorite Places

I love ROME! I have been to many countries but Rome has stolen my heart. I would love to go to the Holy Lands but this is one trip that I'm not ready to go alone.

Favorite Animals

I do NOT like birds! I have a one year old cockapoo. She is the only animal that I really like. There are a couple of dogs in the family that I like well enough to pet for a minute or two but I think my dog is the only animal that I would really miss. I very much enjoy watching the animal discovery shows and going to the zoo. I find the "life style" of animals fascinating.
