More about me

 I am a busy, hardworking, multi-faceted man who is employed in the medical supply field, works on weekends on boats, cars, motorbikes. I am the 4th owner of a remarkably personable and gifted Labrador retriever. I am not a dog lover, but I love this dog. Just about every day we go for a walk. I have an 18 year old son who like me, is kind of a late bloomer, and hopefully, like me, he'll start getting a clue around 40-ish...

A famous boomer once said, "the times they are a changing" and indeed they are. A famous king once said "There is nothing new under the sun".  I think they both are right. Like the singer and the king, in a small way I leave my mark. Perhaps this venue will help me do that. Was it Goethe, or Nietsche, who said "the food of the soul is light and space"? My soul needs friendship and companionship like trees need light. "The sunlight of the spirit" is necessary for continued growth.
