I have lived in California , Las Vegas Nevada, A little place called Parker Arizona, and now for the past 32 years have lived in Canada, Toronto, Thunder Bay,and North Bay. Traveling accross the US to get to Canada was a wonderful experience we met so many nice people along the way. My husband and I made a Trip to Nova Scotia a few years ago and loved it. So I have seen both oceans now. Now we are living the retired life in North Bay

Hi to all you nice folks,  my name is Linda  I am 67, Married have thee adult chidren four grand children and three great grand children. My entire family excluding one of my grand children lives in California  You might call me a retired housewife, if there is any such thing. LOL.  I love chatting on the computer with one of my best friends Wordsmith1945. I also read a lot Mostly mysterys. Mostly the Food Bank there are so many people in need out there.

My favorite music covers a wide specrtrum From Opera to Soft Jazz, My favorite singers are Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Cleo Laine, Pacido Domingo, Ray Charles and the list goes on.

Favorite TV Shows

Right now I am following the Series "Rome" on the Canadian History Channel To tell the truth I don't watch much Prime time TV to many Reality shows for me.

Favorite Movies

Some of these movies are incredibly old, My all time favorite will always be "Atlantic City" with Burt Landcaster. Others are "The Grapes Of Rath", A Streetcar Named Desire and just about any movie with Kevin Spacey in it I think that he is a very underated actor

Favorite Books

The Grapes of Rath, the Black Pearl Cannery Row, and anything that John Stienbeck wrote. Anything By the Irish writer John Connoley, Stephen White's Books, Jonathon and Fay Kellerman books, Of course my first love when it comes to reading "War And Peace". and so many others.

My Husband of 48 years Gerry All my children, grand children and great grandchildren, my mother rest her soul, My long time friend Marilyn, my long time friend Lorrette who is my husbands fathers widow, of course last but never least My internet friend Shirley AKA Wordsmith1945 we have never met, but we have exchanged pictures and she feels like a sister to me. Shirley is having a very hard time now with the death of her husband, and I try to support her as much as I can I know she has pulled me through a couple of rough spots with her great sense of humor. P.S. a Couple that owned a Christmas Tree Farm along the Indiana Turnpike that gave us much assistance after a Car Trailer miss hap
