Places I've been

I was born in Los Angeles, raised in the Valley but I'm not a "Valley Girl" type. I lived in Eugene, Oregon from 1984-1986 then moved to Guerneville, CA in Sonoma County, L.A. city, The whole San Fernando Valley, day trip to Seattle, camping at Mammoth Lakes, Santa Barbara, CA, towns on the CA coast and some inland small towns. I love trees and flowers and ocean, mountains, most every animal or living entity, and I really commune with nature.

Activities

Love and care for my animals, church activities at United Centers for Spiritual Living, learning to draw and paint, beading, jewelry, crafts, selling my jewelry, photography, reading books on spirituality, selective novels, writing and speaking, walking, riding bicycle, music, songwriting, friends, bead, craft, art, lapidary shows, learning and observing, some tv, gardening, I love fish as pets, cats and dogs, birds, visit insects and snails in the yard (which I periodically relocate), observe nature. Motorcycling (haven't moved up from the rear yet), razor scooters manual and electric, ping pong, wind-up toys, jokes, e-mail, book & arts and crafts stores, horses, animal sanctuary visits. Go to the beach. Swimming pool, sit on dark green lush grass. Walks with friends or my lover.

Favorite Charities

Best Friends Animal Sactuary, Gentle Barn, PETA, ASPCA, support of the arts, anything that helps people (who can't afford to) to study music, arts, or other creative expression. Aids causes, Salvation Army, Goodwill, battered women and kids, and recovery houses.

Favorite Music

The old Classical, piano, violin, harpsichord, orchestral, opera & theater, standards (swung), some jazz, esp. piano, Judy Garland, be-bop, motown, classic rock, pop, modern country, spiritual, inspirational, some contemporary Christian like Casting Crowns, some Amy, Deanna D'Amico, some Chapman. Other: Thornbird, Ella Fitzgerald, Ellington, Sue Raney, Aretha, Streisand, talented unknowns, oldies. Andrew Lloyd Weber, Gian Carlo Menotti. Most recent theater: Wicked, Edward Scissorhands, Hair Spray.

Favorite TV Shows

Oprah, Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Monk, Closer, Psych, Law and Order, Dead Zone, Without a Trace, Cold Case, X-Files, Kid Nation, Animal Planet surgeries and Rescue stories, Wife Swap, Super Nanny, Clean House, Mission Organization, shows, PBS informative or creative, spiritual, Jay Leno (one of few comics that can actually make me laugh. Esp: Headlines, Man on the Street, and opening jokes, Conan O' Brien, (like the act where the unseen dude's voice sings uncomplimentary stuff about people and Conan acts surprised. Learning Channel, Kerry Shook, Joel Osteen. Some tv land. Are you smarter than a fifth grader? Sometimes South Park and this adult cartoon with a kid that says, "Butter, that's me!"

Jim Carrey, Adam Sandler, Chicago, Westside Story, Steve Martin: esp. The Jerk and the one where he shares the body with Lily Tomlin, Hairspray; profound-message type movies.

Classics: Great Expectations, Tolstoy's Ressurrection, Dummies and Idiot Lines. Favorite Places

Santa Barbara, Guerneville, San Francisco, Big Sur, Trinidad, CA. Carpenteria. I haven't been many places. I think Seattle and parts of the state, parts of Oregon but not to live there. My family was from New York and I've never been there. I'd like to go sometime with a guide. Beaches.

Favorite Animals

All the ones I have had and do have now. Many different ani species: dogs, cats, horses, birds, fish, hamsters, rats and mice, rabbits, monkies, some insects. Pigs, cows, chickens, goats, llamas, pot-bellies, miniatures.
