I was in Crestline, CA. but moved to Minnesota in July of 2007 to take care of my mom who moved here last December. I still maintain a residence in Crestline. This winter , in Minnesota, has been one of snow, snow, snow, and more snow!I really didn't think it would stop and it hasn't as we have news of snow coming up on Monday which will be April 6th. What happened to Spring in these parts, anyway? HA 

I retired early from teaching in California and have been substitute teaching here . I plan to get my teaching license here and teach a few more years. I am also writing for our local newspaper which has been something I have wanted to do forever. I guess I can say now that i have been published!

I enjoy reading, cooking and looking for that treasure in antique shops and the like.
